Murad Foundation Program Ibu Tunggal is to guide, assist, and develop the lower income single mother in improving their income.

Entrepreneurship Development

Murad Foundation will work closely with MPS, JKM, FAMA, or any government agencies in developing an entrepreneurship opportunities to the group. We had identified a few programs such as planting flowers or small plants for MPS, tapioka with FAMA, and so on. The single mother will has to go through certain training or briefing to educate and guide them to be ready for the program.

Ibu Tunggal (Single Mother)

Single Mother categorized to two category :
1.   Widow (balu) - a woman whom husband had passed away and if there are children under her care which        has not reach puberty are categorize as an orphans,
2.   Divorcee (janda) - a woman whom had divorced from her husband.

We had identified nearly 50 single mother from the lower income group and in the process of profiling them. This activities will give us an idea of their interest and are to develop them. The group will be registered with Registrar of Society under a proposed Pertubuhan Ibu-Ibu Tunggal Murad Foundation.

Rumah Bersekutu MF

    MF will identify a widow with orphans with lower income and work closely with Jabatan Kebajikan
    Masyarakt (JKM) to assist or "adopt" the family under the Foudation. The house will be registered under the
    Foundation and hopefully registered with the JKM at which the Foundation will manage the activities or     programs for the orphans, support financially such as the rental of the house, the school expenses for the     orphans, the basic needs of foods such as rice, flour, sugar and cooking oils will be provided by Murad     Foundation. To-date, the Foundation had identified three houses and currently working on the paper work to get     these three houses under the program.

The People

Currently we had identified a few single mothers from corporate and individual that will lead this team and they will be monitored and advised by an appointed leader, Murad Foundation management and of course Dato' Murad personally.
