Prof Dato' Dr Abdul Murad Ahmad DSNS, PMC, PJK, JP

YBhg Prof Dato' Dr Hj Abdul Murad Ahmad, fondly call by Dato' Murad by people close to him has established the Foundation in the year of 1988. Born and has always been living in Negeri Sembilan all his life, he has been involved in business world for more than 33 years, aside to that he has also keep himself busy in the corporate and political arena. Passionate to help people and obliging to the social responsibilities, he setup Murad Foundation on the 27th January 1988 aiming and planning various charitable activities for the Malaysian in general, and the people in Negeri Sembilan specifically. At early stage, his focus was to develop the poor orphans to become independent by providing a hostel, proper education and guidance to them. So far he has been very successful doing that for the last 21 years where about 400 orphans has become independent through the guidance of Murad Foundation.


The people 

Zahar -

 Help to manage the activities and managing the  Foundation.
 

Ms. Wong -

 "The money lady" keep our accounting book  clean and up-to-date.
 

Ros -

 Fondly called "Mak Lang" by the kids assisting  the administration of Murad Foundation and  program coordinator.
 

     Kak Ju -

      "Ibu" called by the kids a live-in care-taker for the       girl? hostel and also a single parent.
 

     Kak      Normah -

     "Mama" called by the kidstaking care the boy?       hostel and  also single parent and stayed at the       hostel with her kids.
 

     Alvin   -

      Uncle Alvin a volunteer helping in delivering       foods to outside orphans and ferry kids to tuition       centre. He also assist in running errands for the       Foundation.
 

     Fadli-

      Uncle Fadli looking after the cleanliness both       hostels and maintaining them.


The things to share

  • All the orphans call Dato' Murad as "Ayah"
  • Dato Murad also has wrote 12 books to-date mostly on local laws or regulations and entrepreneurship.
  • We have one kid whom do not have both parents and has HIV...all kids love him and treated him the same.
  •  We are pleased that our Foundation has been selected by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia to participate in standardization of care centre guidelines as per UNICEF.
     

We are blessed with a very dedicated staffs that has been helping in managing Murad Foundation through out these years (a good 21 years).....May God Bless Them. Thank you to the team in your dedication towards the Foundation!
